00 IDEATION: Contemporary Photography Programmings, directed and lectured by Ayomide Tejuoso, is a 4 part educational series that introduces young creatives to research based photography practices, visual storytelling across the digital and exhibition space, creative insight on the structures, opportunities, and career pathways in the fashion and contemporary art industries, and creative entrepreneurship. 

00 IDEATION: Contemporary Photography Programmings emphasizes the necessity of conceptual thinking and research methodologies in artistic production. Through its immersive lectures, lesson notes, invited artists, and provided books, the programme expands on black art as praxis, the political and revolutionary nature of photography, and the implications of image in contemporary carnage. It explores installation art and creative representations in the exhibition space, exposing young artists to iconoclastic superimpositions in the white cube.

Professionally, the programme introduces students to the creative industry, and career pathways across contemporary, commercial, and fashion photography. It presents the structures, hierarchies, necessities, and rigour of the communities and institutions that shape the image making industry. It challenges students to create beyond digital and social media vacuums, and position projects through institutional, editorial, and collaborative systems, including exhibitions, curatorial or creative collectives, and publications. Structure: 4 in person classes and 1 final exhibition laboratory.

• Dates: 3rd, 10th, 17th October and 8th November
• Location: Sondr, London
• Format: 4 Physical classes, 4 hours each for first 3 classes, and full day for final class
• Participants: 15 selected emerging artists
